My venture into the world of cornhole began while playing at a campground in the summer of 2022. A common gripe I heard among the players was the unfairness caused by boards leaning in one direction or the other. Drawing on my 34 years of experience as a locksmith and business owner, where problem-solving was second nature, I embarked on a mission to level the playing field!

The initial prototypes took various forms – wood, aluminum, plastics – until, after seven iterations, I achieved a design that left me satisfied with the results. This sparked the idea to explore the possibility of obtaining a patent, resulting in the acquisition of a provisional patent.

After experimenting with different methods, I successfully addressed the issue, leading to field tests on carpet, vinyl floors, hardwood floors, concrete, and macadam, all with excellent results. I take pride in introducing this innovation to the cornhole community, ensuring every player has an equal opportunity to win!
